These Refundable Deposit Terms explain the terms that apply when you pay a £20 refundable early access deposit for Built For Skin.
Built For Skin is currently operated by Yoana Kirilova. Built For Skin is not yet incorporated as a company. If this changes, these terms may be updated to reflect the new legal entity responsible for Built For Skin.
By paying the deposit, you agree to these terms.
1. What the deposit is for
The £20 payment is a refundable early access deposit for Built For Skin.
The deposit is intended to reserve launch priority and show interest in future Built For Skin skincare products.
The deposit is not a purchase of a product available today. Built For Skin products are not yet available for sale, preorder or delivery.
The deposit is not a donation, investment, loan, membership, subscription, equity purchase or crowdfunding contribution.
2. Deposit amount
The deposit amount is £20.
The deposit is payable as a one-time payment through Stripe.
You should only pay one deposit unless we confirm otherwise.
3. What you receive
If Built For Skin launches relevant products, your £20 deposit will be redeemable against your first Built For Skin order.
We will explain how to redeem your deposit when products become available.
The deposit does not guarantee a specific product, formulation, launch date, price, discount, delivery date, stock allocation, or availability in every country.
4. Product launch timing
We currently intend to make Built For Skin products available for preorder or purchase by [insert product availability deadline].
This date is an estimate and may change because the products are still in development.
If we cannot make the relevant products available for preorder or purchase by 31 December 2026, we will automatically refund your deposit to the original payment method by 15 January 2027.
5. Refunds
Your deposit is refundable.
You can request a refund at any time before using your deposit by emailing team@builtforskin.com.
If you request a refund before using your deposit, we will process the refund through Stripe to the original payment method used.
If we do not launch the relevant products by the deadline stated above, we will automatically refund your deposit through Stripe to the original payment method used.
If your original payment method has expired, been replaced or is no longer available, your card issuer or payment provider may still be able to route the refund to your replacement account. If a refund fails, we may need to contact you using the email address provided at payment.
6. Cancellation rights
Because this is an online consumer payment, you may have legal cancellation rights depending on where you live.
These terms do not limit any cancellation or refund rights you may have under applicable law.
In any case, we offer a more flexible refund option: you may request a refund of your deposit at any time before using it.
7. Payment processing
Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
We do not collect or store your full card number, CVC or full payment card details on our website.
Stripe may send you a payment receipt or payment-related email.
Payment-related emails about your deposit, receipt, refund or future redemption are transactional messages. They are separate from marketing emails.
8. Marketing emails
Paying a deposit does not automatically add you to the Built For Skin marketing mailing list.
If you want to receive product updates, testing opportunities, launch offers, skincare education or survey invitations, you must separately opt in to marketing emails through our mailing list form.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
9. Your responsibility when paying
Before paying the deposit, please make sure that:
you understand this is a refundable deposit for a future product launch, not a purchase of a product available today;
you have read these Refundable Deposit Terms;
you have provided an accurate email address;
you understand that any refund will normally be made to the original payment method used through Stripe.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms if Built For Skin incorporates, changes its launch plans, changes payment providers, or updates how deposits are handled.
The version of the terms available on this website will be the latest version.
